IndiaWelcomes.com was founded in 2007 in Amritsar — the city of the Golden Temple — by a group of passionate Indian travel professionals who shared one belief: that international visitors deserved more than generic, rushed itineraries.

They had watched travellers arrive with high expectations, only to leave having scratched the surface of a country that rewards slow, curious exploration. So they set out to do things differently — building every journey from scratch, around the individual, with deep local knowledge and genuine personal care.

Today, with over 4,800 travellers served across 40+ countries and a 96% satisfaction rate verified on TripAdvisor and Google, IndiaWelcomes remains a proudly independent, family-run operator — Ministry of Tourism licensed, IATO and PATA affiliated, and driven by the same passion that started it all.

Our office is in Amritsar, with dedicated ground teams stationed permanently in Jaipur, Kochi, Varanasi, and Leh — giving us local knowledge that no international travel agency can match.
